Combat Tracker: Adding combatants during combat
I create a combat encounter with a few goblins using D&D Beyond's awesome encounter builder. I click run and start the combat. Everything's going smoothly... until the goblins call for help and the bugbears from next door burst in to join the fray, and I realize I have no way to add the new monsters to the current combat...
This is the number one missing feature that keeps me using pen and paper right now instead of the combat tracker.. Combats where you have to know all the participants at the start of combat are just too inflexible.
Please tell me this feature is coming soon! :)
The combat tracker has other missing features, e.g. status condition tracking, renaming monsters, and character sheet synchronization, but the inability to update combatants dynamically makes the tool a non starter for me.
OK, so I realize I could use the manual entry button, during combat, to add some custom pseudo-monsters representing the bugbears. But, if I do this I don't get the nice stat blocks associated with those monsters, which is one of the main reasons to use the D&D Beyond's combat tracker in the first place.
