Are there plans to make DNDB multi-lingual?

So now that D&D has started publication in other languages (I have the Spanish version in my hands right now), can you tell us more about your commitment to add other languages? That's absolutely crucial for me as a consumer, as I plan to buy the books in my language from now on (I had everything released until now in english) and I would prefer all my tools and reference information be in the same language.

    Hi there!

We are working with WotC to get the translation files. Once we get those we will integrate them as soon as we are able to do so.

Will the translated material need a separate purchase? For example, if I have the PHB Rol get now, will I need to purchase it again in my language?

We do not have any further details that we can share at this time - we will reveal full details as soon as we are able.

There is some news on translations? Seems strange to me that in 3 months WotC can not give to you translation files that them already have from the begining (because books exists in spanish before they published in paper). I only want to know what happened, not bad intentions in my comment.

This is also crucial for me. I would like to buy some digital content (and I almost did), but because I dont want to buy it a second time in german language, I will wait until this sitaution becomes clear.

    Or are there any news?

+1 to this. I'll buy DnD beyond stuff as soon as it will be translated in french (or in english if there is no extra fee to change language).

Any update on this? I'm just waiting confirmation on this before doing any further purchases in D&D Beyond. If you were to provide the translated material no matter what language you purchase the content on (like the PHB in english I have right now), I would buy a Legendary Bundle right away and use the translated material as it came available, using the english one meanwhile. If the translated material requires a separate purchase, I will wait for it, but I would like to know where we are standing on.

Hi. My friends and I are starting to play D&D again, and searching for ideas in the web I have discovered your site and found it great! A pair of friends from my group of friends (the ones who use to play as DM) have already bought the 5th edition books already translated into Spanish, so I didn’t feel the need to buy any book myself until I visited your side. See, I kinda am the official “do it digital” guy of my group of friends and family, and I love how you have integrated the information usually found in the books with the interactive character sheet, so I have decided to start buying the online rulebooks and start building my own digital D&D library. The only reason I haven’t done so yet is the language. My plan is someday upgrade my account to a master account so I can share my bought books with the rest of my friends, in order to manage our character sheets through your site, but many of them don’t understand English so well and find difficult to play without having the Spanish translations (you can imagine how important is to know exactly how a spell, hability or feat works before choosing it for your character).

If I knew that I could buy now  the rulebooks in English and later, when they are available, exchange them with their Spanish translations, I would totally buy them right now! Please make everything in your hands to give us an announcement soon!
